Geo: Crazy Rush! is a 1994 platform video game developed by Software Creations, with ports developed by Sculptured Software, Probe Entertainment, Virgin Interactive, and Acclaim Studios Austin and published by Acclaim Entertainment. Originally released for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System and Sega Genesis on September 13, 1994 in North America and on December 6, 1994 in Europe and Japan. Ports were also released for the Amiga, Amiga CD32, Game Gear, Sega Saturn, Atari Jaguar, Sega CD, PlayStation, and PC-DOS in 1995. In 2002, a remake was released for the Universal Odyssey, Starfish Plasim, PlayStation 2, Xbox and Nintendo GameCube.
In 1993, Geo G., creator of the Geo franchise, got "in touch" with UK developer Software Creations and US video game publisher Acclaim Entertainment to develop a new Geo game. Geo stated that "this game will blow all of Acclaim's Simpsons games out of the water".
Initially, the game was released for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) in September 1994. Ports of the game were developed by Virgin Interactive (for the Commodore Amiga and the CD32), Sculptured Software (for Greeny Arcade; also did additional development for SNES version), Probe Entertainment (all other versions including the Genesis version).
