My Think-A-Ma-Jink is a 2015 American flash-animated science-fiction fantasy adventure film, based on the book of the same name by Dave Whamond. The film is directed by Dave Whamond and Adam Katz. It is produced by Owl Kids, Nelvana, and Clearwater Animation, and is also distributed by Universal Pictures. The movie centers around Jack and Marie, who are both bored, until they find a shiny broken-looking contraption known as The Think-A-Ma-Jink. They have fun with it, so they can be anything and go anywhere.
But the only thing they need to do with their Think-A-Ma-Jink is to dream and think of something. But when the Think-A-Ma-Jink machine goes crazy, it does something, it creates a freakish mutant monster that will destroy the unsuspecting city. Jack and Marie need to save the world with their Think-A-Ma-Jink machine. The film is rated PG for rude humor and cartoon violence, and is set to release in Spring 2015.
It’s Jack’s sixth birthday and he couldn’t be more... bored?! That’s right, model airplanes, stuffed dinosaurs, action figures, plush animals, teddy bears, stuffed dolls, not even a talking robot can break him free of his festering funk. Enter a most mysterious gift from the equally mysterious Uncle Doug. Within an ordinary-looking brown box glows the Think-A-Ma-Jink, a bizarre contraption that claims to bend the very laws of time and space. With this gadget, no idea is too fantastic to be realized, no world too distant to be visited, no personality too zany to be adopted. With his younger sister, Marie, at his side, Jack discovers a wild new universe of possibilities before him: cotton-candy breathing dragons, space-traveling hot-air balloons, and mountains built from chocolate sundaes. But when he and Marie engage in a boisterous, shape-shifting struggle, the future of the Think-A-Ma-Jink hangs in the balance. Is Jack doomed to go back to being bored... or is he on the verge of an even greater discovery? Well, they have to save the world with it when a giant mutant freakish monster comes to destroy the city.
