The Nameless Game is an unproduced film, produced by Glass Ball Productions that was to be released in 2014, but was shelved in 2010. It was to have been based on the survival horror video game Nanashi no Game.
A Japanese college student becomes cursed by the titular role-playing game, which causes people to die in seven days upon starting.
The Nameless Game began production in 2009, under the direction of Audel LaRoque with Geo G. and C. Elbourn handling character and background designs. The initial storyreel was presented in June of that year and although many of the animators were impressed with it, 20th Century Fox wouldn't agree to release the movie. This was because they think that it would be so horrifying due to the game's content, so it was scrapped.
