What Do Illustrators Do? is a 2016 American hand-drawn/computer animated 3D action-adventure comedy fantasy film produced by McGraw-Hill Financial, Clearwater Animation, and 20th Century Fox Animation and distributed by 20th Century Fox, based on the book of the same name by Eileen Christelow.
The film centers around two illustrators, John and Ann, who tell stories by drawing pictures in New York, but then a giant green monster comes to destroy the city, so now they have to save the city with their sons, Kaz, Rick and Jacqueline, and their pets, Leonard and Scooter. The film was directed by Chance S. and Eddie Patino, and the film's script was written by James Sharp, Chance S., and Eddie Patino. It was released on June 7, 2016. This film also has 2D hand-drawn animated sequences.
